My Friend X enables viewers to create gifts for a specific person in need of encouragement.  In the project’s first incarnation, a range of submissions were donated by viewers of the piece: drawings, letters, handmade interactive games, and original music compositions.  After the piece’s exhibition, all of the submissions were sent to Whitey.
